Leadership
The leadership of the Church consists of a pastor, elders and deacons who regularly meet to discuss the activity of the Church and plan for the future.
At present our pastor is Haydn Greenow, who along with his wife Elaine took on the pastoral role in February 2020 having relocated to the North East from North Wales.
Haydn is from Herefordshire, and although the son of a farmer didn't go into farming, but was by trade a vehicle sprayer and worked in various location in Herefordshire before pastoral ministry, Elaine had moved to Hereford in 1979 with her family who had moved from Grimsby as her father was to become the pastor of the Church where Haydn attended, Haydn and Elaine got married in August 1983. Elaine was born in New South Wales but her parents relocated to the UK in 1968 after being involved in a serious car accident while working on a mission in Jigalong, in Western Australia. Both Haydn and Elaine came to faith at a young age.
From the age of 23, Haydn has served as an elder while living in Hereford and in Poole, Dorset, and then began pastoral ministry in 200o. He has pastored Churches in Sudbury, Suffolk, Shrewsbury, Rhyl and Wrexham prior to his appointment to Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in 2020.
Elaine and Haydn have 6 grown up children and at present 9 grand children.
